Austin, Texas - September 18, 2002 - Beep-a-Geek Computer Services® is pleased to announce that it will begin offering on-site computer service in the Greater Austin area. The head geek, Tim Landers, started Beep-a-Geek in 1995 with the intent to provide affordable computer services to home users and small to medium-sized businesses who were previously stranded when it came to on-site computer services. Tim Landers holds a Bachelor's degree along with over ten computer certifications from CompTIA®, Microsoft® and Cisco Systems®.

The name Beep-a-Geek Computer Services was chosen to emphasize that a computer professional is just a "beep" away. Service is so integral to the company that it's included the name. Since the vast majority of revenue comes from service, Beep-a-Geek can offer unbiased consultation regarding hardware and software needs.
